This Map Shows Where Breast-Feeding Protections Are Lacking - One major barrier to increasing the breastfeeding rate, per a new report by the World Health Organization, United Nations Children's Emergency Fund, and the International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN), is a lack of laws that "protect and promote" breast-feeding. Isle of Man public pool pays woman £2,000 in breastfeeding row - A public swimming pool in the Isle of Man has paid a woman £2,000 after she was asked to leave the water while breastfeeding. Victoria Hodgson received the out-of-court settlement following a two-year battle over the incident in the Western Pool in Peel in 2014.

Crystyn Leigh Haun is the #PositiveBreastfeeding Advocate of the Week. Crystyn nursed her first son, now 2.5 years old, until he self weaned at 18 months. She is currently nursing her second son (9 months old) and plans to do so until he also self weans. She attends all local events pertaining to normalizing breastfeeding. She was the statewide coordinator for the second annual Nationwide Nurse-In in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She is also a Volunteer Babywearing Educator (VBE) for her local Babywearing International chapter leads the Lancaster meeting. She loves helping new moms in her area with breastfeeding and babywearing and she is always open to questions no matter the time of day!
